I've been looking for affordable but good quality earphones that would stay in place while I workout at the gym. These do the trick, and at half the price of other expensive brands (Sennheiser, etc).br /br /The ear loops are adjustable, and unlike other ear loop earphones I've tried in the past, these don't dig into your skin--you barely notice you have them on! From jogging to jumping jacks, they stay on. br /br /The audio is so-so. I'm more of a Creative fan, but come on...when you're jogging in the city, I would think your priority when it comes to ear phones is that they stay in place, not produce Dolby-Digital quality sound. br /br /As I wrote in the title of this review, they do their job. This is so far my best audio-related purchase this year.

I bought these to run with. I use an iPhone 4, and the headphones that came with it slip out of my ears when I get sweaty. These were my replacements. br /br /Construction: Good, solid, don't feel cheap, the two-piece removable extension cable is a nice touch.br /br /Comfort: Good, don't hurt when I run and are anchored solidly in my ears.br /br /Sound Quality: Not good at all. I didn't think I could find worse headphones than my iPhone shipping headphones, but these are.br /br /Overall: Since I listen to pod-casts while running, they aren't so bad. The sound quality is noticeably worse than what I was replacing, but they fit the bill when it comes to staying in my ears. Meh.

These are my earbuds for life. Take special note if you have narrow ear canals; the standard Apple buds are too big for my ears. Sennheiser's adjustable pads fit perfectly into my ears, and fill them with wonderful, glorious sound. The included clip is a nice touch, and helps deal with the odd cord length. The standard cord is too short for anyone over 130 cm tall, but with the extension you have more than enough wire to hang yourself with. The sound is great, though you must insert these into your ear canals to get the full benefit. They block enough sound to wear on earplanes or while doing things with shouting children nearby. At night, I can hear comfortably at a setting of only 1 or 2 on the iPod. (Consider limiting the volume on your device - you can hurt yourself if you turn it up to 11.) And the price - I laugh at the original MSRP, but for or less this is a must buy.

Can't go wrong with Sennheiser - P. Czechowicz - Seattle, WA
I've had these for over a year now and still love them. Compared to my ~ sony earbuds, these are way louder and provide more bass. The sound quality is nothing short of excellent. I like having the option of extra ear bud sizes and the fact that you can have the shorter cord if you say mount it on your arm or pocket and go running. The only downside is that the extended cord is way too long. I find myself using my MP3 player and headphones when I mow the lawn and have the MP3 player in my back pocket and even then the cord still sits below my butt. It would be nice to have a cord clip... if it did come with one, I can't find mine. :o)

I purchased these to wear while studying. For that purpose they are great. They create a great seal in the ear that blocks nearly all ambient noisebr /br /Very full sound, excellent frequency response.br /br /Complaints:br /-Cord is long...actually too long. For most uses, this cord is overkillbr /-Rubbing against cord creates clearly audible artifact. This is very annoying. For this reason, it would be unfeasible to work out with these headphones. I would compare the rubbing noise to the sound you hear wearing a stethoscope and tapping the diaphragm. Fairly unpleasant.br /br /Overall, these headphones have had great life. I usually have to replace ear buds on a yearly basis, but these are still working perfectly. Strongly consider these if the intended use is stationary listening.

I work in an office with an AC that is constantly on. A covered parking garage is also right next door. Those two variables create a constant low hum that sometimes combine to create a cycling hum... irritating. For reference, I have been using Sony mdr-v6 and more recently Shure srh840, both very capable and pleasing headphones. But they do very little to deal with the low office hum. I also have Super.fi 4vi and Shure e2c IEMs which I would wear when the hum got really distracting, but those can get a little fatiguing especially if I constantly have to remove and reinsert them in my canals. br /br /These are my first and only noise cancelling headphones. I ordered the Sonys without hearing them. As for the hum.. these Sony's do an adequate job of canceling all of that annoying AC and garage noises. Music can now be listened to at a much more comfortable level. That hum still is perceptible and present when no music is playing, but it has been greatly reduced. br /br /I mentioned the mdrv6 and srh840 earlier.. those two walk all over these sonys in sound quality. the nc60s have a "veil" on them that make some music seem very recessed and distant. But I have a feeling that it's the case with all noise canceling headphones, not sure why. I briefly demoed the Bose qc15 and heard a similar sound characteristic to these Sonys. That said, the sound quality is not at all terrible, and in fact is quite easy to listen to. No bloated bass, no shrill highs or demanding mids, just a soft and mellow overall sound.br /br /Overall I would recommend these to anyone in a similar situation as myself. They are quite comfy to wear for 6+ hours a day and make me listen to music at a much lower volume now because of the quite impressive noise cancelling.

I looked for awhile before I purchased. I looked at more expensive and cheaper headsets. I am very pleased with the quality for the price.

Complete Silence;Best for the Price - Frequentflyer -
These headphone have done me wonders. They sound great even without power but once it's turned on it seems to turn all outside distractions off. I was once on a plane and the old cliché of a baby crying truly happened. AT first I shrugged it off, but on a nine hour flight it gets annoying. Afterward I purchased these headphone and I don't even hear the loud plane engine much less crying babies. The only problem I found is that in prolonged use it began to give me headaches;only because of the compression it provides against your head for maximum noise cancellation. Other than that I can honestly say it was worth the money. It was much better then spending the exorbitant amount on the Bose brand headphones

This product was at an excellent price and came in the ORIGINAL PACKAGING. i even registered warranty with Skullcandy. I had great expectations of this product because of the description on the Skullcandy website, but what i thought it would be is not what it is. The bass is low in the earphones compared to the Full Metal Jacket's (FMJ's), which was a disappointment considering that the earphones are made out of wood and drums have great bass to them. The only way to get good bass is to crank the volume to near max (on my phone). The mic isn't compatible with my phone so i cannot say anything about that but the cord is also kind of annoying because it is a hard, plastic covering and stays in the shape of which it was bent and coiled. An excellent thing is that the earphones include 2 pairs of Comply Foam Tips and 3 different sizes of normal tips. The earphones are REAL wood and fit in the ear perfectly. They cover up your ear COMPLETELY with the foam tips. Overall they are a good buy and a good product and i would suggest jumping on this deal before it goes away.

Prosbr /- Packaging was really slick. The wooden box it comes in guarantees you'll keep your eyes on it and use it.br /br /- The actual earbuds look great. The wood mixed in with the metal is pretty awesome.br /br /- Comes with 5 sets of tips, including 2 cushy foam ones.br /br /- Sound came out of them (see Cons).br /br /br /Consbr /- The cord is so cheap compared to everything else it's flat-out embarrassing. I've seen these types of cords on cheap corded toys with remotes. Rigid, cheap looking and feeling, and the cord noise is insanely bad.br /br /- It didn't matter what tips I chose, these earbuds weren't comfortable. To be fair It's tough for me to find comfortable earbuds, but these were particularly bad.br /br /- They sound awful. There is a lot of thump to these things, with little else. If you're a bass lover you'll love these, as I could feel them literally thumping in my skull. It was an odd sensation, and not particularly pleasant. Where the heck did the mids and highs go?br /br /br /I can't recommend these at all. As a matter of fact, I'm in the process of returning them.

Apparently these earbuds are very fragile, because they stopped working about a month or so after I received them. I never dropped or stepped on them. I guess I got my money's worth, since they're so cheap.

The sound quality is great in all ranges even the bass which with the the Noise Cancelation is as good as I have found with any earphone, to get an even better bass response would require a very expensive speaker set with large woofers. I am completly satisfied with the sound quality and comfort of these earphones, you just have to remember to turn off the noise cancelation when not in use so you don't run the battery down. When the battery is worn down the sound is actually better without the noise cancelation on.

My previous noise cancellation headphones where Sony and they had great noise cancellation ability, but since they were not in-ear they got a little uncomfortable after prolonged usage (long haul flight).br /br /These earphones are very comfortable to wear and have great sound; however, upon testing their noise cancelation ability for the first time flying out of the US I was disappointed as it seemed almost unnoticeable. My previous headphones were much more effective in this area. I would need to test other in-ear headphones to conclude if these are bad or average for in-ear noise cancellation headphones.
